All information about the events of 2020 has been expunged from Pickipedia to discourage any imitation by other Apple prediction games.

We can all agree that the competitiveness of The Pickies is one of the best parts about it. However, this did not make it acceptable in any way for a host to allegedly sabotage the Apple Car program by driving unpredictably around cars with cameras in the Bay Area. It was also well beyond the common rules of decency as well as trademark infringement for a host to, allegedly, release an "Apple Podcasts" app for Android to try to fulfill a 3 point pick on a technicality. And while applying for a job as head of PR at Apple is perfectly legal, even when done as aggressively and publicly as it was, everyone now agrees that it is not in the spirit of the game.

Pickipedia roundly condemns behavior like this, but it is heartening to see that the hosts recognized that they had stepped out of bounds, and that they have implemented real reform in the Charter. We can all hope that this is a one time black mark on the history of the game, and that future games can be played in fun.
